Questionnaire Section 1:

Tell us about yourself:

My name is Brooke Yindra. I am a 25 year old female hound hunter from Wisconsin. While growing up, my father raised hounds and he is who taught me the value of hunting and being outdoors. Together, we hunt bear, coyote, and bobcat with the hounds. I did not truly get into bear hunting until I was in high school, which was when I was really able to bond with and understand the dogs. Through hunting, I have met many amazing people and have had the opportunity of experiencing many amazing places. I cannot imagine life without hounds, hunting, or the outdoors.

Questionnaire Section 2:

With road closures severely limiting hunting access to large areas of timber company-owned land and county forest lands, we need BOD members who are willing and able to go to local government meetings and advocate for keeping land open for hunting. WBHA must continue devoting time to assure that bear hunting will continue to be recognized as a valuable activity here in Wisconsin.

Besides BOD meetings and the Annual meeting how much time can you commit per month? (Options: 2 hours, 4 hours, 10 hours, or More)

10 hours

How far are you willing to drive? (Options: 20 miles, 50 miles, 100 or more miles)

50 miles

What days are the best days? (Options: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday)

Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday

Questionnaire Section 3:

What are some of the things you feel you can personally do to further accomplish the goals of WBHA?

Some of the things I feel I can personally do to further accomplish the goals of WBHA includes attending meetings, banquets, and conventions, communicating with state politicians, spreading the word and advertising WBHA, raise money for WBHA, and become a great addition to the team by including input or ideas to accomplish said goals.

Questionnaire Section 4:

Knowing that the HSUS has an unlimited bankroll, and one that is far superior to what the WBHA has, what would you be willing to do to save your sport?

Knowing that the HSUS has an unlimited bankroll, and one that is far superior to what the WBHA has, what I would be willing to do to save the sport would include raising money for WBHA, attend meetings, banquets, and conventions, spread the word about hunting with hounds through conversation or social media, communicate the importance with state politicians, and add several great ideas to the club.
