Thank you to all vendors who participated in the 2014 convention. Hope to see you all in 2015. The convention will be at the Central Wisconsin Convention & Expo Center (formerly the Patriot Center) again next year on March 20th & 21st, 2015. Contracts will be sent out after the Christmas Holiday to all current vendors. Any business or organization wishing to attend as a vendor can contact me by e-mail or phone and I will get you on the contract list.

Attention all hunting groups…

Our raffle committee (Earl Vanderveren& Dave Klum) and our SOS auction committee (Jerry Honeyager, & Carl Schoettel ) are seeking financial donations for the 2015 annual convention raffle and auction.

As you know the cost of everything is going up and this includes items for the auction and raffles. If your hunting group is able to make a donation to the auction and raffle fund, or if you have an item to donate, it would be greatly appreciated if you would contact these committees prior to the Annual Convention.

It is mandatory that all live puppies/dogs purchased during the SOS Auction are to be picked up no later than 8:30am on Sunday morning of the Annual Convention.All Auction Sales are Final & all items are subject to change.

Annual Convention Photo Contest

There will be a photo contest this year at the annual convention, Please bring a photo you do not mind getting back. The board of directors will be voting on the best photos. And please put your name and member number on the back of the photo’s so we know who the photo’s belong to.

Annual Meeting 11am-5pm

  • 11am – 12pm The “State of Bear Hunting, 2015”

    In our first session of this year’s busi- ness meeting we will hear from guest speakers who will update us on the cur- rent issues our members care about the most.

    Note: Meeting schedule may change without notice at anytime.

  • 12pm – 1:15pm Awards, Presentations and General Business

    In our second session we will focus on awards and recognitions. This will include Big Bear, Scholarships, Field Trial awards, and Iron Clad tributes. At the end of this session we will also be seeking nominations for positions on the Board of Directors.

  • 2pm Annual Raffle Drawing
  • Auctions and Raffles: The famous WBHA SOS Auction will begin at 1:45 pm. The auction will be interrupted intermittently to draw general raffle prizes.


  • 9pm – 1am DJ Dance


Annual Convention Special Events

Friday Night Banquet – 7pm

The 2015 Annual Convention Banquet will be held at the Holiday Inn.& Suites.

Banquet Tickets are $20 for adults and $10 for kids 4-12 (Under 4 free) this includes meal, key note speakers, raffles, door prizes and special visitation time.

Banquet will be a “Country Gathering Buffet” featuring:

  • Fresh Garden Green House Salad with Dressing and Croutons
  • Entrees: Seasoned Baked Chicken & Sliced Honey Ham
  • Vegetable Blend, Roasted Garlic Mashed Potatoes with Gravy, & Stuffing
  • Homestyle Rolls with Sweet Cream Butter
  • Beverage of Coffee, Decaf, Tea, or Milk

For every new person you bring to the annual convention and sign up as a new member, your name will be entered into a raffle for a gun.

It’s simple folks: times are tough. The economy is hurting our association too. We can’t continue to depend just on our existing members to fund all the important things the WBHA does. WE NEED NEW MEMBERS and we need to boost attendance at the annual meeting. Thank you for your support!

Early Bird Drawing is back! Ticket Packages purchased by March 21st will be automatically entered. Use form on next page or – **Credit Card purchases are also available by calling WBHA Sec / Treas: (715) 635-9459

Pre-purchased ticket packages come pre-labeled with members ID# on each ticket. Ticket package increments include 75 for $100, 25 for $50, & 10 for $25 (Single tickets will be available at the Annual Convention.)

Annual Raffle Info – Please Read

Please note: You must be a WBHA member in order to purchase Annual Raffle tickets.

Pre-purchased raffle ticket packages will be available for pick-up during regular membership hours. All pre-purchased packages must be picked up no later than 10 am on Saturday, March 29th, 2014. All general raffles will close at 1:30 pm.

You must be present for the membership raffle in order to claim prize.

Membership Raffle drawings will be held and announced intermittently during the SOS Auction beginning at 1:45 pm.

Prize winners will have 10 minutes from the time that the winners are announced to claim prize. If you are not able to claim prize within 10 minutes—you will forfeit your prize and an alternate will be awarded the prize.
